E3 Playstation Vita Trailer (Cammy Glimpse)

You know, I have a habit of forgetting to thank God for the blessings he bestows on me, but this time, the man upstairs was the first guy I thanked after I found out this blessing has hit me.  A Tekken CGI Movie!!!  Thank you God!  Forget those horribly done movies with actors and actresses, I want the CGI.  I want Tekken to stay in its rightful place.  I want to see some insane fighting with unrealistic results.  I WANT MADNESS!!  And this Summer, we get it!

The bottom information was copied from boxden.com

■ The movie is in CGI due to “demands from fans” of the series.

■ The movie will feature a completely original story, and will run parallel from the game’s main story as well.

■ The story will be mainly carried by the characters in the movie. Backgrounds of some characters maybe altered to accommodate them in a movie format and keep things interesting.

■ Will there be new characters in the movie? “Well…just look closely at the trailer. You will find some characters who not yet known”.

■ The movie is aimed at fans and those who like Japanese anime.

■ One of the reasons why they went for CGI is that it’s easier to render the exact world of the game than with a live action movie. The costumes, moves, effects, style, everything would be hard to make it look convincing in real life. Not to mention cheesy.

■ The development team behind the movie are huge fans of the Tekken series, and Harada said that their personal know-how of the games made the development process very easy.

■ The movie will feature both Japanese and Eng voice-overs in the retail package. Voices in theatrical releases will be dependent on the region.

■Voice actors from the games will be used in the movie as well.

■ If the movie is successful then they might expand it further in to a series, or an anime. (Maybe even a game, who knows?)

■ Harada said that he has been receiving extremely positive feedback over the movie. He then joked that he has stated to feel the pressure now, and Japanese men don’t perform better when they are under pressure

An 8 minute video of the Gameplay for the Street Fighter X Tekken gameplay. Pretty much everything is as expected (considering the promotional vids we saw previously) It is weird watching King and Kazuya in 2-D mode however, but whatever. Anyways unfortunately no new characters were revealed for this vid but it’s still a must see for SFXT fanatix like myself! Enjoy!

Super Sweet!!!!!!  Capcom and Namco have released some new footage from the Street Fighter X Tekken Series.  Oddly the duo is not showing any scenes from the Tekken X Street Fighter version however.  Luckily that does nothing to take away from the “Super Sweetness” of the footage that they did release!  The first trailer is a short cinematic of Ken and Ryu facing off against Kazuya and Nina.  It’s nice to see Ken get some “face” time both literally and figuratively as he’s my favorite Street Fighter Warrior (yea I said warrior)!  With the second trailer it’s more a focus on gameplay revealing a few new characters.  Street Fighter’s lineup consists of Ken, Ryu, Chun Li, Bob, Abel, and “the Magnificent music goes with everything” Guile.  On the Namco Tekken side we’ve got Kazuya, Nina, King, and Marduk.  Not sure why Namco is being stingy with the character reveals, but I’m guessing characters like Jin, Heihachi mishima and Eddy Gordo will be some the last to be revealed (although Jin’s name is mentioned in the first trailer).  Well I think I’ve explained enough….check out the vid and let’s hear what ya think.
